Description
The DB5 in silver metallic with twin pale stripes over the roof and boot, chrome bumpers with overriders, chrome wire wheels and a twin exhaust.
Launched in 1963 and made famous on the big screen soon after, the DB5 is perhaps the most recognisable British grand tourer of all.
At 38.1 cm long this is a large, statement-size model made to be the centrepiece of a shelf, sideboard or desk. Press the hidden button and a soft, water-based vapour drifts out exactly where it should — the closest a display model gets to coming alive. The body is cast in metal, so at around 2.0 kg it has real weight in the hand, and the paint is laid on in smooth, even coats with crisp fine details.
Highlights
- Large 38.1 cm display size — a real centrepiece, not a desk trinket
- Solid die-cast metal body with a deep, even paint finish
- Smoke from the twin exhaust
- Red and amber LED rear lights
- Opening doors, bonnet and boot
- Rechargeable via USB-C — no button cells to replace
- Smoke fluid included, refill with the dropper in seconds
