Audi's first RS4 put a twin-turbo V6 and quattro all-wheel drive into a family estate — the original fast wagon, and still a cult classic.
At 37.4 cm long this is a large, statement-size model made to be the centrepiece of a shelf, sideboard or desk. Press the hidden button and a soft, water-based vapour drifts out exactly where it should — the closest a display model gets to coming alive. The body is cast in metal, so at around 2.0 kg it has real weight in the hand, and the paint is laid on in smooth, even coats with crisp fine details.
